The Bellefonte Historical Railroad features two vintage diesel rail cars that are in operation during the summer months. The Bellefonte Historical Railroad Society is a non-profit organization that provides excursion train service to central Pennsylvania. The train is based out of the West High Street Depot that has been restored to its original grandeur. Every summer weekend the trains depart from Bellefonte to the villages of Lemont and Pleasant Gap. Dinner train rides and charters are also available.
